Making Hundreds or Thousands

The most frequent question I get from new candiates considering the Watkins home-based business opportunity is, "How much money can I make with Watkins?" That's really an open-ended question, because there are many variables that will determine how much money you can make with any business opportunity. Over time I've come to learn that the most important determining factor is not a Watkins factor, but instead has to do with the mental and emotional framework of the individual (i.e., the associate).
The Watkins business opportunity is a legitimate home-based business option for anyone seeking extra income and wanting to own their own business. But most people are dreamers and talkers, never putting forth the effort it takes to become successful at any business they attempt. So I often answer the question, "How much money can I make with Watkins?" with a question of my own -- namely "What kind of person are you?" For example, "Are you self-motivated?" "Are you a self-starter?" "Can you commit 7 to 10 hours of part-t ime work per week to any business?" "Do your friends think of you as a winner or a quitter?"
The most important question I ask potential associates is, "Why do you want to join Watkins ?" If they tell me want to get rich quick or become a millionaire, I know immediately I'm talking to someone who WILL NOT do well in the business. For "get rich quick wannabe's" are a dime a dozen. It's true that one can build a healthy six-figure income with Watkins, but those that do have great reasons for joining. For example, if a person tells me they want to earn enough money to pay for their child's college education, cover the cost of a nursing home for their parents, make enough money so their spouse doesn't have to work, send their children to private school, buy a new car, etc., I know these people will have a very high probability of succeeding with Watkins (or any business opportunity). In short, they're not daydreamers, but instead are folks that have a solid, reasonable, and realistic goal that is attainable.
At this point the person I'm interviewing normally says, "But really, how much money can I make with Watkins." Once I've made the points I've just addressed from above I tell them that you can make hundreds of dollars per month with Watkins, or you can make thousands, the choice is up to you. For example, you can simply choose to retail the products and start making money immediately. Hold regular Good Tastings parties, sell at festivals and craft shows, do ongoing catalog distribution and you can build a clientele that will earn you several hundred dollars per month, working part-time.
If you want to make thousands of dollars per month and enjoy a six-figure income, it is possible to build a six-figure income annual income with Watkins in 3 to 7 years working part-time hours persistently, consistently, every month. I typically recommend that people work at least 7 to 10 hours per week in their Watkins business. But you cannot make thousands of dollars per month consistently unless you regular work on recruiting and sponsoring new Watkins associates. Since Watkins is a network marketing company, you can earn bonuses on the sales of thoses you recruit and sponsor. Thus, maximum payouts come to those that focus on both retailing and recruiting. Do both and give Watkins up to 10 hours per week of your time every week, and your six-figure income could come about after working part-time regularly for 3 to 7 years. But here again I would have to ask, "What kind of person are you?" Once you start a new career path are you the type of person that will give it their best day after day? If so, you need to contact me soon to learn more about Watkins, or if you prefer to do your analysis on your own, I recommend you download the free ebook, Work From Home Goldmine, by yours truly.
